Information We Collect

When you use this site, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, order history, and information submitted through the contact and custom load request forms. We also automatically collect standard technical information such as IP address and browser type.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect — including your name, address, phone number, and email address — to process orders, respond to inquiries, fulfill custom load requests, and operate and improve this website. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

If you check the marketing opt-in box when creating an account, we'll also use your email address to notify you about new products, restocks, and other updates from OLS Industries, LLC. This is opt-in only — we never enroll you without your consent — and you can opt out at any time by emailing info@olsammo.com and asking to be removed from marketing emails.

Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technology only for functional purposes: to keep you logged in, to remember items in your cart, and to protect the site against fraudulent form submissions. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies or tracking pixels (e.g. Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel). If that changes in the future, we will update this section to describe what's in use and how to opt out where applicable.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers — that information is transmitted directly to our payment processor, who is responsible for securing it in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We retain only the order and transaction records necessary for our own business, accounting, and legal recordkeeping.

How We Protect Your Information

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit between your browser and our servers (HTTPS/TLS), storing passwords using a one-way cryptographic hash rather than as plain text, and using access controls to limit which staff can view customer and order information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using practices appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who need it to help us operate the site and fulfill your order, including our payment processor (to process your payment), shipping carriers such as UPS and FedEx (to deliver your order and provide tracking), and our email delivery service (to send order confirmations and other transactional messages). We may also disclose information where required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or as needed to verify compliance with the age and legal-eligibility requirements described in our Ammunition Notices.

Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing communications (see "How We Use Your Information" above). To make any of these requests, email us at info@olsammo.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Note that we may need to retain certain order and transaction records even after a deletion request, where required for accounting, tax, or legal compliance purposes — for example, records related to ammunition purchases that federal or state law requires us to retain.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. Ammunition products are not sold to individuals under 18, and handgun ammunition specifically is not sold to individuals under 21.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we make a material change, we will make reasonable efforts to bring it to your attention, such as through a notice on this site.
