Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase shotgun or rifle ammunition through this site, and at least 21 years of age to purchase handgun ammunition.

ID Verification

Age and identity verification is required at checkout and again at delivery. An adult signature meeting the applicable minimum age requirement above is required to receive any ammunition shipment.

Prohibited Persons

Federal law prohibits certain persons from purchasing or possessing ammunition, including convicted felons and other categories described in 18 U.S.C. § 922(g). By purchasing from this site, you certify that you are not a prohibited person under federal, state, or local law.

Compliance with State & Local Law

Ammunition laws vary by state and locality and change over time. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to know and comply with all laws applicable to the purchase, receipt, transport, and possession of ammunition at their location.

Safe Handling & Storage

Store ammunition in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and open flame, and out of the reach of children and anyone not authorized to possess it. Do not store ammunition near flammable materials, and avoid dropping, crushing, or otherwise physically damaging cartridges. Inspect ammunition before use and do not fire any cartridge that appears damaged, corroded, or otherwise abnormal. Always follow the safe handling practices published by SAAMI (the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute) and the operating instructions for your specific firearm. Dispose of unwanted or expired ammunition only through a licensed firearms dealer, law enforcement agency, or other lawful means — never in household trash.

Shipping Classification

Ammunition is regulated as a hazardous material (Class 1.4S) for shipping purposes, which is why it is limited to ground transportation only and cannot be shipped by air, to P.O. Boxes, or internationally — see our Shipping Policy for the full carrier rules. Any hazmat handling surcharge our carrier applies is already factored into the shipping cost calculated at checkout; you will not be charged a separate hazmat fee after checkout.

No International Sales

This site ships only within the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship ammunition to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or any destination outside the United States.
